The Lincoln Muslim Sisters Forum have been working with Churches Together in Lincoln to make the world’s biggest Peace Blanket. Ghada Mohammad and the Forum started the project back in February 2018.
Yesterday and this morning the group are working frantically in the Nave to assemble all the sections of the blanket before The Guinness Book of World Records come to measure it this afternoon.
‘Peace’, knitted in various languages features of the blanket, which will have an approximate size of 30 x 40 metres.
